FALL IS HERE

Uncle Brody called and asked if we would like to go on a little hike. I could just see myself carrying Teagan and Bailey up the mountain - Nick was hunting and would be of no help in this situation - but what the hell we went anyway. We went up to Brighton and it was gorgeous. The weather was perfect till we got up on the mountain and then it started to thunder and before we knew it - RAIN! O-well it was fun anyway thanks for inviting us Brody and Brindy. The picture with the kids explains it all - Bailey thinks she is as big as Teagan. She wanted to walk with the big kids and did not need help. It was Teagan that ended up asking to be carried up the mountain. She is growin up way to fast.

CATALINA!! CATALINA!! CATALINA!!

We took the boat into Avalon and went to visit Great Grandpa & Grandma McELroy. Great Grandpa is sick and was in the hospital so we didn't get to see him why we were on the island. We did go see him on the day we flew home- we love you and hope you get better soon. Then we still had an hour drive to the other side of the island. We were all exhausted from the plane and boat ride so we took a little nap on the ride over. We didn't get to play in the water much the first day, but for the next 9 days we were at the beach every day!! Teagan and Bailey were so much fun. Bailey would not leave Teagans side and they were so cute together. It was alot of work for a vacation but worth every bit of it. We had so much fun. Cant wait till next our next trip over.

Grandma Catalina & Teagan
on the boogy board.

Nick and Teagan also found a lizard on their way back from getting snails. Teagan is giving the lizard a kiss!!!

We took a kite out to Cat harbor and tried to get it to fly but the wind was blowning everywhere so we were not able to get it to work. Nick caught a couple of sharks and Sting rays out here also. It is so fun to catch that stuff and let the kids see it and then we throw it back and wait for the next catch. Its always a surprize what your gonna get on the other end of the pole.

What a life - after a hard day at the beach we had to go back and relax in Grandpa and Grandmas hot tub!

Teagan and Bailey got to pet a sting ray that Nick caught.

At the beach again. Teagans mask and snorkle. He wears this quite often and if you come to the house you may be asked to try it on. In these pictures the white house in the background is Grandpa and Grandma Catalinas. It was just a walk out if the house and down a few stairs and we were at the beach. It was so nice just to run up to go potty or get a snack and then right back down.

Look at the smiles on their faces!! Nick, David, and James had an
awesome day of fishin. 15 Dorado, and a very large mako shark!
This is my very favorite fish to eat. James was the one on the end
of that pole. Good Job boys!
The kids loved Grandmas tomato patch!!!

This was a fun day at the beach - Trevor caught the kids a few crabs and put them in a hole in the sand and the kids watched them. Bailey wasn't scared a bit she was tryin to stick her feet in the hole with the crabs. We built some real good sand castles.

Tuddy girl is Uncle Jeffs cat and she can be a fiesty one. But Bailey could roll on top of her and almost be sittin on her and she didn't once try to scratch or bit her. Tuddy would actually come and find Bailey and lay down by her. No one could believe Tuddy could ever be nice like this.

Lora and Davis had a BBQ for us so that everyone could come over and visit. It was so fun - the kids loved everyone and had so much fun. We love all of you guys and miss you already.

We all went out to Cat Harbor to see Grandpa's tractors. Nick even took Teagan for a ride. (Didn't know Nick could drive tractors did ya - neither
did I!) Teagan loved it. He thought he was in heaven.

At the beach again. Nick put on his gear and got his spear gun - then he rented us a kayak with a glass bottom and pulled us around so we could see the fish and all the sting rays.

This was the last night and we went for a stroll on the beach while we waited for the boys to get home from fishin. Grandma drew divermans in the sand for Teagan.

The boys pulled through once again with some
big old Tuna. They were exhausted from a long day fishin.

And then we had to go.
